Indian Instruments
manufacturer, Raj Musicals, has been hit by a hacker using the handle
@JokerCracker. According to the reports by CWN, the hacker has leaked a file
containing the details of more than 12,000 customers of the 60 year old musical
instrument store. The customer details included their names, email addresses,
encrypted passwords and telephone numbers. Details about the leak were
announced on Twitter and also posted to privatepaste.com. The incident poses
serious risks as the details of the customers interested in musical instruments
will make a valuable resource for a well-planned attack.
Emails are being sent
to Raj Musicals to know whether they are aware of the incident and the steps
they have taken following the breach. The updates about the action taken by the
musical instruments store is yet to be known and the reports are awaited. The
incident certainly leaves the customers with a sense of insecurity and this
will eventually affect the business of the well-run musical instrument store.
Hacking has become a common occurrence today and serious measures are to be
taken to curb this. Raj Musicals, which happens to be a state of art enterprise
has a rich tradition of selling musical instruments. The company is a
professional manufacturer and exporter of Indian musical instruments. The store
sells a wide range of instruments such as table, sitar, dilruba, sarangi, taus,
veena, violin, guitar, drum sets and many other instruments. It is the best
place for the music lovers to visit. It does seem unfortunate that such a
hacking took place affecting the credibility of the traditionally strong music
instrument store.
