At the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Samsung was the one that was showing off their Super AMOLED screens, which were paper thin, full color, and very nice. These are integrated into phones these days and are literally steps away from being released as full computers. I posted this video last year.
Today, it looks like we will have complete paper sized computers, being passed around at the 2013 CES. This was using technology similar to the Kindle and Nook: state-like black and white displays. The benefits? You can integrate the computer using a very small surface, significantly less than what it would take for a Super AMOLED. Take a look.
